November 13 and 14, 2021 will take place the Third International Practical Conference on Autism (IPAC-2021), which is organized by the ‘Child with Future’ Foundation already for the third time.
The event has traditionally become a communication platform where Ukrainian and foreign professionals meet and share knowledge, experience, and new achievements in autism.
The topic of the current meeting is “Autistic adolescents and youth: development, health, support”. It is one of the most relevant problems in Ukraine and in the world. This is due to the rather high saturation of the information space with issues of disorder in preschool children, but there is still very little information about ASD in adolescents and adults.
The conference will be attended by 25 Ukrainian and international speakers who work daily with autistic people, and people with alalia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and other mental disorders. Conference participants will have 20 hands-on workshops, which will be held online.
Among the speakers of the Third International Practical Conference on Autism IPAC-2021, in particular, Dr.Stephen Shore is a world-renowned expert in education, professor of education for people with disabilities at Adelphy University (USA), Inna Olshanskaya, rehabilitation and occupational therapist, a member of the American Association for Occupational Therapy (AOTA) and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), USA, Igor Martsenkovsky, Head of the Department of Mental Disorders in Children and Adolescents of the Scientific Research Institute of Psychiatry of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Head of the Child Psychiatry Section of the Association of Psychiatrists of Ukraine, Candidate of Medical Sciences and many others.
Therefore, we are waiting for parents, teachers, tutors, educators, representatives of the IRC, government agencies, public organizations, doctors, and everyone who wants to join the world’s best practices and information about ASD.
