Believe in inclusion: school director interview in Zhytomyr for “Autism Today”

Yanina Glinchevskaya is the director of the secondary school N28 in Zhytomyr. They have decided to introduce an inclusive education system since 2014. It was difficult at first since there was neither a technical base nor the necessary knowledge, but over time everything fell into place. The school taught teachers and worked with parents to see them how effective inclusion is.

There are 26 children with special educational needs at school now.

“We are very pleased to see children’s happy eyes, and parents respond with joy and gratitude,” says Yanina Glinchevskaya.
