Dear parents! Studio of socialization “Child With Future” invites you and members of your family to attend free of charge master class “Social stories”, which will be held on
March, 4 (on Wednesday) at the address 12, Shevchenko Avenue.
Social stories are short description of a certain situation, event or activity and include information about what to expect in this situation and why. Also they help to understand what a child can see or pass through in a particular case. They may teach a child a proper behavior at the playground, at the market, at the doctor`s, at the kindergarten or at school and other situations, which a child surely faces. Likewise these may be stories which will teach from “how to wash hands” till “how to explain that I`m hurt”, “what to do if I`m angry” etc.
In the frames of master class you`ll be taught to compose social stories, to select tools (on the example of PECS) and to learn them together with a child. They are the simplest tools, which will help your child to socialize. The knowledge received will help to hold correction work in one or another situation by oneself.
Master class will be held for you by Iryna Kalinichenko, a practical psychologist, specialist for behavior correction and a system of alternative communication.
