‘The Bright Side of Autism’ seminar is already available for viewing.
Dr. Stephen Shore, Bill Peters, and Misha Sergienko talk about why they like being autistic.
According to them, autism gives a unique view and perception of the world. They can notice things that others do not see – small details or patterns, for example.
Dr. Shore for example, easily assembled watches and bicycles as a child thanks to this ability. Later these skills became his first job.
Bill Peters is very social, loves to help and is great at helping people understand autistic children and youth. It helped him to find himself in adulthood.
