17, Dec pre-school “Child With Future” within the frames of the program of support of children with special needs was visited by the First Lady of Ukraine, the head of the Petro Poroshenko Charity Foundation Maryna Poroshenko and the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for children`s rights Mykola Kuleba.
Guests congratulated children with upcoming holidays, and children, in their turn, showed the performance, which they had prepared themselves, entitled “Saint Mykolay comes to us”. Also an excursion over the educational institution was held for Marina Poroshenko and Mykola Kuleba.
“This pre-school is one of the first in Ukraine, but I hope that gradually the quantity of such institutions will be enough for education of all children with disabilities”, – said Mrs. Poroshenko.
“We are very glad that government starts to show its interest more actively as regards children with special needs, and we hope that soon it will bring positive changes in the situation with autism in our country. We are grateful to Marina Poroshenko and Mykola Kuleba personally for their active participation in building of a future for special children”, – stressed Consul of “Autism Europe” Inna Sergiyenko.
